Thoughts Before You Buy Baby Stuff

Knowing that you're going to be a mom or a dad can really be overwhelming. You get excited to see your baby's movements, hear his/her heartbeat, and check his/her gender. The next thing you'll probably be doing is buying baby stuff like crib, strollers, and the likes. Like any other commodities, prices may vary based on qualities and brands.

Canvassing can really be of help. But, it is also wise to first check whether you need to buy a particular item or not. In this case, we would like to leave you something to think about:

Do you need to buy feeding bottles or are you going to breastfeed your baby? Today, buying baby bottles is no longer as easy as buying candies. You need to check if they are BPA Free and sturdy. Sizes and nipple types are also need to be considered. However, if you decided to breastfeed the baby, you need to assess yourself and see if you can effectively express milk without using pumps. If not, then there's another decision to make, manual or electric pump? Better make yourself familiar with their functions and weigh the advantages and disadvantages.

Next, are you going to use washable cloth diapers or do you need to start stocking disposable diapers?

Also, will the baby sleep beside you or in the crib? do you think pillows or bolsters set can be beneficial for your little one? Or perhaps a co-sleeper? What are the pros and cons?

I saw this picture posted online and I'm hoping this will help you decide:

We're not against buying baby stuff here, let me clear that one out, we just want every parent to be more "wais", especially those inexperienced ones.

Let us know your thoughts! :)
